Security Guard Job in Glendale, California

Tactical Response Security Patrol has immediate openings for UNARMED & ARMED SECURITY OFFICERS! We are seeking Security Officers to become an integral part of our amazing team. The selected individuals will patrol and secure assigned premises as well as identify risks to clients, staff and patrons. Some positions may prefer guards to wear business attire (e.g. suit & tie), which are not provided by the company. Responsibilities: • Warn violators of premise rules and regulations • Apprehend or expel persons engaging in suspicious or criminal acts • Deter illegal activity on premises • Observe and Report • Report any safety hazards to proper authority • Follow all post orders • Maintain professional communication with all clients, staff, and patrons • Respond with a sense of urgency Minimum Qualifications: • Must be at least 18 years of age • Valid CA ID • Valid CA BSIS Guard Card • BSIS Firearm Qualification Card Required for Armed Position • Proof of Eligibility to work in the USA • No Criminal Convictions • Must be able to work nights, weekends and holidays • Strong Work Ethic and a Can Do Attitude • Proven oral and written communication skills • Demonstrate strong problem solving skills • Proof of 40 hour security guard training (If you don’t have this, you will need to obtain it within the first 30 days of employment) Physical Requirements: • Prolonged standing and walking • Ability to climb stairs • Ability to work outdoors in extreme cold and heat • Ability to lift up to 50lbs Hiring Process: Respond to this ad with a copy of your resume and tell us why you’d like to work for our company.
