Security Guard Job in Los Angeles, California

We are currently looking to expand our inventory and hire security guards. We have full-time positions and part-time positions available and are looking for security guards to be on call (ready for work at potential new locations). This Job Is Ideal for Someone Who Is: * Dependable -- more reliable than spontaneous * People-oriented -- enjoys interacting with people and working on group projects * Adaptable/flexible -- enjoys doing work that requires frequent shifts in direction * High stress tolerance -- thrives in a high-pressure environment * Detail-oriented -- would rather focus on the details of work than the bigger picture Payment; -Security guards will be paid bi-weekly in cases of long-term shifts. -Security guards will be paid in full after one-day-event shifts. Requirements; -Must be 18 years or older. -Effective oral and written communication skills -Active listening skills -Ability to assess and evaluate situations effectively -Ability to identify critical issues quickly and accurately -Attention to detail -Must be able to work flexible schedules. -Must be able to operate radio or telephone equipment and/or console monitors -Must have demonstrated ability to interact cordially and communicate with the public -Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law -Either armed or unarmed is acceptable. -Applicants must have the proper licensing the state of California requires in order to do security. If the applicant does not have the proper licensing, our consultants can guide them through the process. -We prefer applicants to have security experience and know basic self-defense. -We are based in Los Angeles, Ca and have worked at locations all across LA. Applicant must have a reliable source of transportation.
