My experience in the line of work of security began in the form of sole loss prevention, which eventually evolved to becoming a Security Officer & an Asset Protection Investigator & plenty of milestones along the way, which in my opinion were the foundation of my upbringing in the workforce. It shaped my work ethic & overall character. My vigilance is instinctual & being observant is great, but it can also become a nuisance, as there are plenty of undesirable sights that are better left unseen. The world has become a very unsavory & overall dangerous place. I take pride in what I do because I know that I can make a difference where I need to. As well as the psychological aspect of it, when someone has a sense of safety & security it creates a comfort similar to feeling at home. That alone drives me to do what I do & being who I am, I can’t help but to make sure I’m the best at what I do. I’ve typically preferred to have used my mediation skills to handle issues that arise, but certain situations under extreme circumstances require extreme reactions. It is always a last resort to use physical force to restrain anyone, however if the safety & security of those around is jeopardized, then it’s important to maintain composure & keep the situation as calm & under control as possible. I’ve done it time & again & am confident that I will continue to do so when called upon.
